I am writing to protest John Hubbuch's vulgar and offensive comments about Sen. Hillary R. Clinton in last week's Wednesday Journal.

Whether one is politically sympathetic or not, Clinton is the elected senator from the second most populous state in the nation. To have defined her exclusively by the unfortunate and inappropriate sexual antics of her husband belies the basic misogynistic attitude of Mr. Hubbuch. Had Sen. Clinton been a man, this would never have been written. It is beneath contempt and deeply offensive.
