Well, it's not the Internet! It's my sole low grade all through school: penmanship! Sorry.
Every week when I am in town, I await my Wednesday Journal. The Aug. 2 issue was awesome to one who has lived here 48 years.
I have written our village board regarding Kris Gallaher's questions: Why are we not living with the Kyoto Accords? What will it take? Kudos for printing this letter to the editor.
Christine Gawne Vernon's wondrous "passeggiata" where she covers architectural buildings that I did not have on my list for guests from out of town. That is now torn out of issue and into my Oak Park file.
And thank you for the article on Mr. Seaton and our beautiful Conservatory.
Rev. Lueking is one of our area's blessings (and I am not a member of his church). The beauty of our area is the response to his remarks, especially from Helen Mildenhall. And thank you for printing responses. And thank you for the two articles on Royce Yeater ("An uneasy coexistence") by Drew Carter-again in my Journal file.
It's becoming cumbersome.
